"And here...we...go..."

Every year I look forward to summer because it means the end of another (hopefully successful) school year for my kids and some down time for me. And every year something happens to make my summer nutso. This summer doesn't appear to be any different. I am hoping to slip in some fun getaways or "staycations" throughout the summer. Suggestions would be welcome!

No More Pencils, No More Books...

Yes, today is the first day of summer vacation for our high school student. Of course, my internal clock kept bugging me this morning so I couldn't sleep in (Friday is one of my usual days off). So now I am officially the mother of a college sophmore and high school junior. Whew!

Now that school is out that means the FIFA World Cup is just TWO WEEKS AWAY!!! Yep, the world comes to a halt when World Cup starts on June 11. I am so looking forward to that!
