All of Nashville is watching the weather, waiting and wondering if we'll get any of the nasty weather passing just north of us. MSNBC reported that Paducah, KY, was telling citizens to stock up on supplies and get off the roads. Personally, I don't care if it snows or not, but if we get a snow day, I WANT SNOW DARNIT!! :p

Procrastination

So, this new study on procrastination says people are more apt to procrastinate, or even not complete, a task that is abstract. Let's say that's my problem. I can't sit down and write a journal because it's not concrete enough. In the past I've always failed with journals and blogs, so to make a difference, I'll make some concrete guidelines. I want to start off slow, so I vow to blog three times a week (Sunday-Saturday), with a special blog twice a month. One blog will be a short story based on a song or picture. One blog will research the etymology of a word. The last blog will cover a book I am currently reading or just finished reading. The twice monthly blog will be in Spanish about something in Spanish or Latino culture.
